Photographers are a solitary group. Its a bit of a lonesome job, and that is one of my least favorite things about photography as a self-employment option. I like office life for the most part. At least at my favorite office I loved my co-workers and would have moved heaven and earth for them (Hi AT&T Kirkwood office!) I like co workers and inner office gossip and office parties and all that good jazz, and photographers for hte most part aren’t really into the camaraderie or as I have found, a lot of them have trust issues. And I get that. Photography can be dog eat dog. But I’ve been lucky I have found a few photographers who feel like I do about working together and making each other better. I call my self truly one of the lucky one as I got to 2nd shoot last season for UnderGrace Photography. I have not figured out how to make her better but I do send tons of chocolate when the occasion calls for it. But she let me tag along and shoot a wedding with her and I learned so much from the experience and I really hope to get the opportunity to shoot with her again, after she gets back from maternity leave (Welcome Henry!!) Any who here are a few from the day.
This grooms family restored a pick-up and each of the sons drive it to their wedding. I LOVE pick ups especially classic ones so I could shot with that all day.
Becky and Ken were the sweetest couple ever, to see more of this wedding head over to Undergrace’s blog. Also I had a blast manning the photobooth, you can take a look at some of the results over there as well – click here. it was really AWESOME time. Thank you SO much Michelle for teaching me and being so open. You are awesome.
