Just a thought

So you are one in a million huh?

well there are 303,337,366 people in the US and 6,647,391,058 people in the world (give or take) so at minimum that means there are at least 303 people in america just like/as good/ or as cool as you -depending on your definition of ‘one in a million’, and 6,647 in the world. Those aren’t exactly crappy oddsof being the only you, in the room at least, so how bout you just be happy?

Today vs. yesterday

So over at News-Bitch, shes offering up the breaking news… Apprently NKOTB is getting back together. Clearly if I need to break down what NKOTB stands for - you should probably just stop reading this post all together, it won’t mean too much to you at all.

I was honestly not the biggest NKOTB, I was busy channeling Janet Jackson, and loving bands that were never ever gonna sell a million dollars. And so while leaving my comment over on NB’s site I thought of my young daughters love of music which she has gotten from me easily. She is very into Beyonce right now. Her favorite song today? Upgrade U.

yeah.
and she’s three.
I don’t have a lot of room to bytch about it, whileI am convinced

I’ve said this plenty of times…

the truth in bloggin

Okay there are 500+ unread items in my google reader. Life has been busier than usual, or I just read too damn many blogs. Whichever.

At any rate - I haven’t let many comments around the bloggersphere lately cause I just haven’t had time… and that is truly no excuse. I am deeply sorry to all of you who I have wanted to leave a comment whether it be snarky, offered sympathy, well thought out or witty. I have though many a comment just by the time I got ready to actually post it I think you guys were like three or four posts ahead.

Jerry and I are both in the middle of having prayers answered left and right. I’ll update you all as soon as we can.

So please know that I am keeping up with you guys I’m just a bit behind….

Update:

what happened with my friend and her daughter from the push or not post?

after we went round and round about it for a while, she let her daughter get tested and she made it into the program and is apparently doing very very well, and is really excited. She said her daughter told her “Its exactly what I need to get ready for college!”

the kid is like 10 or something!

I didn’t even say I told you so.

Its a drive by posting!!

(read the title and hear me  do a very bad mrs doubtfire impression -”its a drive by fruiting!”)

So we had a very busy weekend. I got my hair finished before the kick off Saturday morning. Then I promptly took Cammy to two birthday parties. The first one was a tea party, at a little house

just livin la vida blogga!

So dinner last night was good, it was a solid culinary experience.
Made a pot roast with Guinness. Jerry made his famous mashed potatoes. So famous I don’t even bother making mashed potatoes anymore – we just leave that to him. It wasn’t as successful as last nights dinner which was Penne Pasta in a Vodka Sauce, with Chicken Breasts. Very easy and very, very tasty…I started to take some photos but I got all caught up

My dear, sweet brother Numpsy!

A cupcake to anybody who knows what movie that is from… Spoken you don’t count, I know you know..

Todays blog post is a hybrid of my normal drive by postings all beginning with the statement life is too short to:

Life is too short too: worry about things one can’t control. My dad is moving to Chicago with his fiancé, and while I would prefer not to see him go, honestly I don’t think it will make a whole lot of difference. Honestly my dad is right here everyday, and I rarely see him as it is, so it will no longer be simply a lack of effort on both of our parts and more of a we live too far away to see you regularly thing, which might help with the guilt
