So this weekend was a hoot riot.
Friday – as most of you know from the MASS AMOUNTS of you who have come from Mamalouges blog, there was a gathering of St. Louis Bloggers. Courtney and Tom, Lisa, Tamberlyn, Kristie, Rebecca , Jaelithe and Farrell, and marriage 101, Melody, Jason, Stef, Bill (very tall man), Dwight, Susan, and of course Tojosan (we missed your wifey man!)Photos do exist of said jackassery. Check my flickr page. Got to see alot of people for the first time and and meet alot of bloggers again. These things just keep getting bigger and bigger everytime.
(drive by cute photo that has nothing to do with the paragraph) It was great to see so many spouses, and men at this one. That was great Jerry was glad to meet some guys particularly, Mamalouges hubby- the Sexy. Chris so you know I wasn’t going down to necessarily enjoy the band, butI’m trying to get practice at band photography, they were necessary. Anybody know any bands playing I’d like more practice.. It was cool to get to talk to alot of people, although I am so spaz with alot of people around, I don’t think I got to have any long conversations with any individual, it was more like Drive-By personality breaks, and I had my camera attached to my face til the batteries died. Yes I was caught with out spare batteries.. I will do better next time. Also thanks to those who mentioned they were gonna use my referral thingy for AT&T’s uverse. I really really appreicate it.
Jerry and I got rave reviews as a couple, apparently our cute is as sickening as Chris and Dana. Jerry got to relax in talking to Chris, he got his personality ball rollin after Chris got there. It only takes for him to get a good groove going with one person then its on for him. he makes me a better party person – I am instantly more comfortable with him in a room, at the other thingy I missed I was off my game (maybe that was the late) any who Jerry won our bet on the blogger gathering . We were the only black bloggers there. Anybody even know any other black bloggers local? anybody? Spoken you don’t blog enough to count. I forgot to put the T on the chest of my little south park girl. ah well.
Any who The next one (blogger meet up) is on Jerry’s birthday Feb 8 th so hopefully I won’t be able to attend, I’ll be doing birthday things to the hubby, hopefully in vegas or Florida, if not though then we’ll probably find our way there.
You know I had no plans on thinking about Florida – how ever the SNOW we got this weekend, just proves to me I am such a tropical personI am trying to RUN to a beach climate.
This was Cammy first good and real snow. She loved it. She finally got to break out the snow suit shes been asking about since last year when my mom bought it for her.
Honestly, I don’t mind the snow as long as I don’t have to spend alot of time in it. I hung out with Cammy til Jerry came home, then left to make them hot chocolate. Bria likes to look at it, she seems puzzled by the sudden whiteness of it all.
Bria’s thing is christmas lights she likes to watch them twinkle. We took thier psudo christmas pictures. I swearI gotta get some lights so I can do better at this. They didn’t turn out horrible, but they weren’t AWESOME either.
I will spare you all the grusome poop story Bria blessed us with yesterday.

Dude, come on, don’t tease me like that… I LOVE poop stories! …do tell!
We had a great time in the snow, too. I hate that it melts into goopy slush so fast, though.
But the gathering could be the birthday present, just kidding. You will be sadly missed.
Aw man, sorry we booked it on his b-day. Crap. Glad you had fun last week! It was a blast!
Hey! Good meeting you all. Finally, a meetup i could make.
Power to the black bloggers! Gosh I miss you guys. I wish I could have been there. I’m insanely jealous over the gifts of vanilla sugar. You guys are the cutest blogging couple, ever. Glad you’re enjoying the SNOW.
I don’t care if I don’t blog enough to count. I USED to blog enough to count, but nobody remembers that now do they… So. :-p
I’m sorry you lost the bet. There were all of 8 black girls in my (all-girls high school) freshman class; and only 1 was left by graduation. It’s something I’ve thought about a lot. . . that it shouldn’t matter, that we all should have been able to just be a class of teenage girls, race be damned. But then I think how isolating it probably was. . . and how one by one they left, and how in the end there was only one left. I hated that cultural and racial lack of anything resembling diversity. I don’t really have a point. . . except to say, even though you may have been the only black bloggers there, I am super glad you were there and want you to keep coming out regardless. Does that make any sense?
I totally get what you are saying and we will totally be there barring any actual other plans for his birthday- the conversation came up because NPR did a story on how percent wise Black and Latino households are just as if not more likely to have internet connection and a high speed one at that. hence the bet.
I figured I’d lose… It makes the hubby feel all manly to win. I figure have to let him be right sometime
I’m also glad you were there. On the way home Chris goes “I’d hang out with Jerry.” They made man friends. AWWW.
If you hit Vegas or FL I say that we take the meetup TO you. Chris and I are not above hiding in your luggage.
(Also, I loved the girls’ Christmas photos. You could do it pro easily.)
