Its a drive by posting!!

(read the title and hear me  do a very bad mrs doubtfire impression -”its a drive by fruiting!”)

So we had a very busy weekend. I got my hair finished before the kick off Saturday morning. Then I promptly took Cammy to two birthday parties. The first one was a tea party, at a little house the owner had converted into a small restaurant with little finger sandwiches and the like, the girls all got to go up to the closet and get dressed up in party dresses, they had a little etiquette lesson and story time tea time (lemonade really) cake and ice cream then presents and we were on our way home by one. It was really very very sweet.

A very close knock off of my business idea, but not quite.

The second party was J’s god son Elijah. Sweetest lil man. His mom has photos everywhere and I never really noticed it before, that is what I am missing in my house, I take all these pictures and I’m not displaying them the way I need to, I also need to invest in art more often. I’ll have to work on that.

My daughters make such a nice impression on people when they meet them, often I wonder how do you expect them to act? Is it that far off base that my kid is polite? Or per say are my children really, really well behaved and I am just oblivious to how good I got it? Am I such a boat rocker you would expect my kids to be hellions? Several different people mentioned that my girls were well behaved.

Anywho Cammy came home and promptly came down with a fever of 103 that hung around all weekend effectively nixing my plans to go with Napi  to the magic house.  She has moved back to St .Louis for a little while so I should hopefully see more of her and her handsome little boy.

Jerry Xbox 360 finally got the Red Ring of Death. Virtually all first release Xbox 360′s die with in the first few years of owning them, and it took Jerry’s a lil longer than most. Apparently the current 360s are fine. He’s shipped it back we should get it back quickly and then I will lose my hubby again to the glow of the box.

Def poetry Jam vol. (aka season) 6 is coming out of DVD, and I need to pick up seasons 4 and 5 as well. As much flack as I give Def poetry because of what it could be, I am grateful for what it is, and hope they bring it back for a season 7.

Speaking of Def poetry I am having a tad bit of writers block for the work I need to have for the 15th… I’m not freaked out yet, but I’m getting close.

So the job is moving soon. I need to get stuff for my new cube. Need a radio, and a fan, calendar, frames for my pictures of my people. I think I want one of those digital frames. We’ll have to see on that. Wish I could get a dorm size small fridge to keep my milk at my desk, the fridges in my offices are notoriously grimy.

They are offering jobs in different offices and I am hoping to get a job close to the house. I wouldn’t mind being able to metro link to work, or ride my bike. THAT would be AWESOME! I could lose the rest of this weight pretty quick.

I’m being rather light on the posting on purpose we’ve got somethings on the horizon and I am trying not to jinx it.

  • Why have three different men told me how much they like my voice (I talk on the phone all day to technicians) then immediately ask me what state I’m in (as if they were gonna ask me out if I was in the same state as them)  and I wasn’t even using my phone employee good for poetry voice either.

Hope cammy is feeling better; poor thing. That tea-party party sounds like a wonderful idea. I’d like to know the details…(i.e. execution)

To quote Chris Rock, “She speaks so well!” So, we’re just going to pretend then like Cammie could have a “Georgia- sized” fit if she for really wanted to… huh? Okay

Maybe it’s cause they can’t believe that your crazy self has raised some adorable, well mannered, polite children. . . but I think it’s more just that people really appreciate well behaved kids, because it says something about those kids’ parents. When you compliment a child, you’re really complimenting their parents. So you should rewrite this part of the post and brag about what an awesome job you must be doing in this motherhood gig :)
