Its been a long day and night

Sorry its been a while since I’ve posted. So much has gone down. I guess I should start at the begining.

A few months ago we got a bogus arsed bill from Lacelde Gas, saying they had estimated in error and undercharged us for our gas service for you know the majority of LAST YEAR. so we got an unexpected bill for 1200 bucks. Then they turned the gas off even though we were disputing the bill. So we spent the greater part of April and the begining of May with out gas. Which since we didn’t need heat only meant that our showers were cold, and we ate out ALOT. Which was annoying. We fought and argued with them and totaly ended up paying most of the bill. this situation goes to further show that once the utilities are deregulated I am so jumping ship. Ameren UE is trying to raise rates right now as well, I am turning red so I am gonna stop thinking about it for a bit. funny thing is all that eating out – made me miss cooking in my home so much – but I’m so tired by the time I get off work that I don’t have the energy to cook when I get there.

So after the great gas out of 2006, we are now able to focus our attention on our expanding family and the required space to do said expanding.

yep, I’m talkin rennovation.

so we’ve got the nursery painted. Great step forward, and Cammy’s new bamboo floors are sitting in her room in the boxes for the required week before instalation. My dad has graciously offered to come and help my husband not Kill himself or end up through the celing duing the installation of said flooring.
Hey my dads done it – it could happen.
So I think its offical – I’m nesting. I’ve arranged for the brick guy to come fix the exposed brick wall in my bedroom, which must be done so we can move upstairs. I’ve taken hubby to choose a mattress for our bedroom, which was a fun experience. Love watchin my husband jump from bed to bed. Bed chosing is a good way to learn a bit more about your mate. I highly recommend it for any couple. They tell you things about them selves and their habbits and how they view your habbits you never would have thought of. Well, at least Jerry did. So it was alot of fun – not to mention we caught a great deal on a mattress, and we did upgrade to a king – which was a bit of a we ain’t gotta have it but we want it and at least we didn’t splurge and get the Temperpedic memory foam bed with the massage remote and incline head stuff type purchase.

So by the end of the month we should be ready to have it delivered and put in the upstairs bedroom. We also secured a new big girl twin bed for my poopsie Cammy’s room, which has been all painted and dora light covers have been installed and I am putting up curtains and the like this weekend. Once her floors go in, then I just need to install a new celing fan for her and start the joy that is furniture shopping. And linens – we have no linens for any of the beds we found this week. There hasn’t been a twin bed in our house ever- let alone a king size, so I gotta start bargan shopping for those as well as picking up curtians for the play room and the nursery. Then I shall take a trip to the promised land

IKEA- chicago

yeah baby – I am almost giddy.

Big ups to my kid brother who has ever so graciously came by to help me paint rooms, he’s planning to tackle my landscaping which would totally rock.

The husband is scraping paint off the porch so we can paint it as well.

The dog has been to the vet.

My sister is moving to Philly, which sucks in a I’ll support you even though it sucks kinda way.  And if she can’t find a apartment that takes dogs I have told her I will take her little yapping dog – who my husband is less than fond of yet my daughter loves to peices. Me, I like Max, we’ll have to see how he goes down in large doses. I will miss getting to know my newest neice/nephew daily, but I think we can make it work. I need a vacation spot anyway.

So I am off to make more lists, do more nesting, and freak out more. We’re at 24 weeks or so, I feel like the time is flying by even thought it can’t really move fast enough. I am excited to meet the new little person.

Value City has Hotel brand sheets, they’re excellent, 500 and 600 count, at very good prices.

Wow, just reading that made me tired. I don’t know how y’all did all that.

I imagine that a little yappy dog may become less yappy in the presence of a BIG dog.

Unless he’s one of those yappy dogs who thinks he’s a big dog, in which case . . . ear plugs?

The little yappy dog does ahve a big dog complex until our big dog starts flingin around those massive paws that are the size of his head, he tends to calm down kinda quick then..
Jerry thinks the dog doesn’t like him, cause he is a snappy little thing, I think if i was dealing with people MASSIVELY bigger than me – i’d be a tid bit snappy too…

I’ve found that Marshall’s, Home Goods, and T.J. Max offer the best in bedding for less.

I’m talking 600 count sheets and comforters for under $50.00, it’s a steal….

After thought

In my short-live experience, I’m finding that, aside from the government….

Sprint, Laclede Gas are the biggest pimps out there! My bill was outrages as well.

Dude, you do know it’s 2007 & not 2006 right? Has the flesh pod sucked that part of your brain too. The rooms look great, everything is progressing nicely. We TOTALLY have to come up on those sheets… & IKEA when are we leaving?

I got all my daughter’s furniture at IKEA. Freaking love it.

PS. That gas thing is insane! That should be illegal.
