My very delayed Greys Post…

yes this is my greys anatomy post. there are many topics to cover.

right now immediately I want to voice my disapointment and disgust with the NAACP for giving Isaiah Washington an Image Award.. Come on? Seriously? Then again this is the same group who gave one to R.Kelly the year all hell broke loose with his video tape saga, which is still unresolved. So clearly this isn’t really about the image of colored people, but the image we wish you would have or maybe if we pretend like your shyt don’t stink maybe it won’t. I don’t know – I’m just pretty sure a image award was not the way to go here. Not that I think firing him was the way to go, I just don’t hink he should be celebrated. *just a note, if that had been my daughter they wouldn’t have R Kelly on trial – I would be on trial for some Samuel L Jackson “Time to Kill” type shyt. but that has nothing to do with Greys Anatomy now does it?  Moving on..

Also a big ole congrats to Mc Dreamy. Nothin like having twins. And the family looks too comfortable and content with the new additions.  Clearly they caught them before sleep deprovation has set in.  Here’s to hoping we have simular moments of joy and wonder and lack of sleep deprovation once our little one arrives.

Also congrats to Chandra Wilson, our favorite Dr. Bailey is winning awards left and right.  I loved her speech at the golden globes. I love her in general. and Bailey is seriously one of the main reason s I watch that show.  between her and Addison and Callie I could really do with out Issy at the moment.

ahhh. Katherine Heigl. Our dear Issy, someone in her camp let it slip that she wasn’t pleased about her contract negotiations, and ABC was like – who are you homie, we ain’t really gotta offer you shyt, so back up and be grateful. Heigl fired back saying that ABC was being disrespectful, but who ever let your original thing slipped screwed you on this one Katherine, I can’t really be mad at ABC, when you look at resumes and compare, Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington both came from some heavy hitter stuff before Greys so their higher starting salaries speak to, both, their agents ability to negotiate, and thier prevoious experience, which gave their agents some fire power. (Sandra Oh, I only watched ARli$$ cause she was in it, Isaiah Washing – mostly in the ninties – and he gets special points for staring in my top five movie Love Jones)  Then again I can’t really be mad at Katherine either cause really, anybody who didn’t think she should have at least be nominated last year for a golden globe was high. I remember watching the scene of her on Dennys shoulder when he died and said to somebody, she should get an award for that man.

 One more thing Can TR Knight please smile in a photo, he looks like somebody stole his lunch money in EVERY PICTURE I SAW FROM THE GOLDEN GLOBES. I’m like damn man- if I had your job – on the top rated drama on TV, winning awards left and right, I’d look like the rest of the crew, I’d be happy as hell, even if one of my co-wokers is a homophobe. Dude, you really gotta be better than that, you are an ACTOR for cripes sake.

okay – lets get a general recap of the actual show.

Okay I think its only fair that I advise you that this is prolly gonna be pretty short and sweet, and cover the whole three part arc from the last three new shows.

I enjoyed it.

A few things though. If Callie was my friend I would be so ready to throw down with Issy. She doesn’t even have a good reason not to like Callie!! And while I’m all glad she can drill a hole in a dudes head with a power tool, and she got her swagger back, if she doesn’t back up off Callie, I’m really not gonna like her any more. Seriously.

Okay – is it just me – or does giving up and coming back just mean that evenutally Derrick is gonna call Meredeith on that whole drowning thing. Cause he knows it he said it, “Shes a good swimmer.” He knows it, even if Mer never admits it, he knows, and he’s not just gonna let that slide. it will be something that comes up agin, Just cause Mer had her in death epifany doesn’t mean they are about to embark on that happily ever after he was talking about before, happily ever after is at the bottom of that waht ever she almost drowned in, its now time for some regular ole reality.

With the news that Addison will be trying on a spin off for size, this gives the whole thing with Mc Steamy some legs, I don’t think he’s gonna make it, and I don’t think shes gonna make it the sixty days. Mark Sloan suffers from selective memory. I don’t think he ever felt the way Dreamy feels about Mer for Addison, and I think deep down Addison knows that. Which is why she aborted their baby. Which sucks for him, but hey it is what it is.

Callie and George gotta get some non Issy related stuff going on, can we see them house hunt or something? how long can you live in a hotel? and i really want to see what happenes with the chief – it is so refreshing to see a middle aged black man have a compelling story on prime time TV – and he’s not Bill Cosby. I’d also like to see him fight for his marriage. Or at least grow a pair, I’d totally expect Jerry to pitch a fit if I had a man in his house that he paid for – married or seperated or what ever. No matter what I said last time I saw him. So Cheif – grab a pair. 

Okay anybody else think that Christina and Burke are headed for some seriously difficult times, I bet they don’t work out and Burke leaves the hospital. I don’t want Burke to leave the hospital, but if hte whole “f word” thing doesn’t die down between now and april when they shoot the last epis, it will be written into the finale.

Oh yeah, and Addison and Alex will get it on by April. dude – I’d do him if I were her. that is all. Comments welcome, i’d love ot have a greys gathering for hte finale – anybody else down? i figure planning must start soon if it is to happen.
