Spinnin and spinnin

I am feelin dizzy. Not literarly mind you – well at least not right now. I feel like I have such a long list of things to do and no time left which to do it in. However my husband has turned UBBER SEXY and finished installing the new floor in Cam’s room. And helping me move forward where he can help. so hopefully sooner rather than later I’ll post some pictures of the new floor so you can go bask in my hubbys sexy handy man glow.

So i’ve been tossing around the idea of getting a 3d ultra sound done, since it wasn’t an option when I had Cammy and could be concidered the one truly fun just between me and the baby things I haven’t done with this kid yet.

i feel like I am totally slackin on this whole new human coming in under ninty days. I have like four onesies and like one bottle. However we have painted the walls of what will be the nursery, and I’ve painted the magnetic paint on the right spots in the play room. Now I just gotta get some more done. My to do list gets longer than I can check things off of it. But again did I mention the wonder hubby?

Cammy broke the wooden guardrail on her crib – ironically WEEKS before we were planning to move her into a REALLY big girl bed – so I’ve got to order the peice so we have it when new kid gets to that age.

i’m almost glad the weekend is over – almost in that – can i just get a do over kinda way.

Sunday was a nice evening, I sat and watched bad TV and new B-list chick shows since Greys in now in reruns, we ahe decided that army wives and the Starter Wife are perfectly Cheesey enough to watch- I don’t honestly know how long Starter Wife will hold our attention, but Army Wives, I think I may be bit on that one. Its like a realistic – I think – Desperate Housewives – on base. I have never lived on base so I can’t really say – but I will say that the way the charaters react to each other – it could be any group of women stuck in a simular situation together. And I love that about it.  

We had a gentlemen come by to figure out if he could handle the indoor tuck pointing we needed to have done on the exposed brick wall in our master bedroom, and it only took thirty minutes for me to frustrate him by knowing too much about what i wanted and being able to look up what I wanted on line nad tell him – that he clearly wasn’t ready to do what I needed. We live in a old house. And as far as tuck pointing and masonry goes, what they used to do then - they don’t do now and trying to use modern methods on my old arsed house isn’t the most sound thing either.

whats the major issue? Limestone mortar.

Apparently you can’t use modern cement mortar over limestone mortar, and currenlty what they use to make lime stone mortar isn’t the same as it was a zillion years ago when dinosars roamed the earth and masons used limestone mixed with calcium. So even if the guy did work with limestone – which he didn’t – it wouldn’t have worked anyway.

So we are on the hunt for an affordable – which probably isn’t likely – mason who works with older homes and brick work. can you hear the fun bubbling around me?  

Cammy’s birthday is coming up soon, my child is enthralled with Chuck E. Cheese. And we’ll be making a pit stop at one sometime this week so she can do her Chuck E cheese dance. Anybody want to meet us at a Chuck E Cheese hit me on the Email.  

All in all things are putting along – still a bit nauesus three days a week on average – which is okay. eighty some odd days to go. Rady to meet the little bugger thats for sure.
