- Michael Vick- I think it’s a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY to put Michael Vick in Jail for 23 months over some dogs. I am a dog lover, I own a dog, have always owned dogs and don’t participate in dog fighting. But really there are much, much bigger fish that need frying. A sizeable fine should have been sufficient on a first offense, possibly some community service at a humane society. Didn’t a lady get probation for killing a construction worker a few weeks back here in St. Louis? And Michel Vick gets 23 months? I’m not at all saying that he shouldn’t have been punished, I am saying he forgot who he is, on a basic level and somebody is reminding him.
- Oprah and Obama – I like Oprah and Obama, I like the fact that Oprah has decided to use her influence to say something bigger than my favorite thing is a 300 dollar sweater or an 80 dollar t-shirt. (although when you are Oprah you can love an eighty dollar t-shirt.) I am politically on the fence in my decision, although its not between Hillary and Obama. I just don’t like Hillary, she’s too Old school for my tastes. I just don’t think she’ll change anything.
- Ever do a google blog search on black moms? It is not very pleasant – and full of x-rated, x-rated-ness, and does not lead me to happy thoughts about you internets.

- The girl I was pregnant with and ate lunch with all the time just told me she is pregnant again -and doesn’t know if she will keep it. I need to stop eating with her- I can’t take getting pregnant again now. We all know its contagious, I caught it from her last time. But I’ll wait and be supportive while she makes that decision and switch to bottled water. No more tap for me.
