On the passing of Ike Turner – I don’t care.

Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnancy – I don’t blame her mom – her mom is catching a CRAP LOAD of blame when her sixteen year old daughter has made 16 year old decisions. Her sister and her seem like they were raised well enough, possibly not well enough to withstand Hollywood pitfalls, but that just means to me she didn’t know how to parent in that environment. Brit was FINe for a long time before she turned STOOPID. Its hard enough to parent in general – let alone parent through the massive amounts of money and fame those girls have made individually. And when I was sixteen I was weighing the whole sex thing and was sexually active by seventeen. And I knew what the deal was, I knew how babies were made. I knew how to stop it from happening too. I knew I didn’t want it to happen. And I took all necessary precaution. This my dear internets is what I like to call a young woman making her bed and lying in it. I can only hope that the sex was good.

You make better babies when the sex is good.

Being sick – being sick sucks. Yesterday I left work early, I was feelin a little sluggish, but I was going home to take care of my sick hubby, work on this brownie cookie we’ve been trying to get right, hang with Cammy, you know do my everyday. So I get home I thought I could nap with Jerry and then go get the girls and the like. I stop by the store, pick up what I need for soup and cookies, and head on home. Get home right around three. I’m feeling frosty, but there is snow outside, everybody is feelin frosty right? So I spice up the soup I’ve chatted Jerry through makin. And he promptly steals the bowl of soup I was eating (I do remember that Jerry) and so I’m like I’m gonna take a nap and then go get the girls.

Apparently what ever hit me on the way up the stairs did so with authority, cause I woke up with a temp, dizzy and a bunch of other symptoms I wouldn’t discuss in pleasant company.

Jerry used his stern daddy voice on me. Not cool. He made me go back to bed and took care of our reguratating toddler. such a trooper he is.

So I don’t remember much of what happened from there.

Christmas Time in the City – Christmas is certainly upon us. It is time for Christmas movies and Santa photos and all manner of festivities. Fa la la la la.

Camera Woes – I am currently in a serious debate in my photographic life as to whether to build a Camera system with a brand other than Pentax. I’ve used pentax all my life and I’ve never even ever shot another brand of camera. I’m a loyalist like that. However – this last year in trying to find lenses and things for my camera as I expand to a more professional setup has been frustrating, to say the very least. Infuriating is better I think.  Frustrating enough that I am thinking of divorcing Pentax and getting together with perhaps a nice Nikon d300. This 18 year relationship is not easy to walk away from. Anybody out there have any input I would love to hear it! Especially though from Ned Bunnell but chances are slim he would have input for me, I’m such a peon in this, I guess. He blogs so it could happen, maybe.

Politics - yesterday in the store I saw the cover of the Enquirer, and it had a full front photo of Oprah on it. Nothing new right? Well this particular story had her breaking up with Steadman to get with Barak Obama. Seriously?!? This is how we treat people running for president? They don’t even wait for his opponents to sling mud, they make the mud pies for them? I mean not too long ago they had Oprah leaving Steadman for Gayle. Man Steadman must really be solid in who he is cause being with Oprah does not lend itself to thin skin. I still don’t know who I am leaning for but man I could vote Obama out of SPITE at this point.

Um – I guess this is all today.

Carry on.

Oprah and Gayle? What, I mean girls can’t have best friends anymore?? Geez louise!

Poor Steadman. I mean he knows what he’s in for on a daily basis with this trash, but he seems pretty solid, like you said.

Oh, and I had that bug you’ve got. It sucks big time, so seriously TAKE IT EASY!!! Hope you feel better (:

I hope you are feeling better…Jake had the pukies on Sat. and I was soooo thankful none of the rest of us got it, knock on wood. We are all just hacking up our lungs left and right, but that I can deal with. That is a goody hubby, sending you back to bed while he tended to the kiddos. :)

You could shoot with a cardboard box and your photos would come out awesome.

I hope you feel better.

Steadman is the steady man!

Your body is trying to get you to slow down and chill out. I know as a mom this is unheard of… however please head your body and take care of you!
Happy Holidays!

I hope you’re feeling better!
I saw your comments about a camera, and it brought to mind when a blog friend I like to read was looking for a camera too. Here’s a link to her blog about that, and the comment by Deb I thought was pretty informative too. Don’t know if this is what you’re looking for, but, it’s there if you’re interested. :)
Stay well!

I have a canon digi rebel that I love like no ones business. Also, thanks for visiting my blog. You are deep and I will visit yours again. Thanks for the chuckles this morning. It’s amazing how this hobby (scrapbooking) brings strangers together.
